Hi all, the Prelims has finally come to a close. The sheer amount of work to be revised and the process of sitting through the numerous hours of exam was really torturing. I was really extremely relieved that I had finally overcome all that struggle and I believe most of those who had been through the Prelims would share the same sentiment as me.
However, this time, the Prelims had not been as idealistic as I had thought. I wasn't able to finish all the revision that i had wanted due to poor time management. In fact, a lot of essential things are left uncovered during my revision. Looking back, I think there could be a lot of improvements in the way that I revise my work. Besides that, I think I've also made several grave mistakes when taking the actual exam itself. The two most serious errors would be the wrong choice of questions and poor time management.
Of course, it's a natural reaction that we would all feel that we could have done much better after the exam itself. But I really hope that the actual A level Exam would be the time when I totally grasped everything that I'm capable of knowing. There's also the second struggle awaiting me and those in the same predicament as me. But of course, there's still whole month of time for us to catch up with the work. I think we should still take a break over the weekends before going back to school to receive our results.
I think it's quite a good suggestion that we had a class gathering after the A level but I think the date and time should be carefully chosen as some people may be enlisted in the NS early in Mid Dec or the PRC scholars may be returning to China.
